It may be the winter season, but Mare Oyster bar is still out here being a ray of sunlight for everyone by serving delicious meals and exceptional service! Read more below of what our customers had to say after dining in with us.
Great Seafood – What a great restaurant. A bit hard to find but worth the effort. We sat at the bar. Great cocktails a service from the bartender. The menu and specials all sounded great. Hard to choose. First of all the portion sizes are very large and reasonably priced for a fine restaurant. I had two appetizers and couldn’t finish. Grilled octopus was perfectly cooked with interesting take on Italian style including a relish burrata. Second I had a surf and turf if scallop and beef shirt rib with truffle mashed potato. So good. Wife had trio of fresh fish crudo and the lobster egg roll appetizer. All perfect. We will be back soon!

Great seafood restaurant!! If it’s cold out they have first come first serve seating outside by the fire pit. Service was just okay our waiter seemed to be very busy and rarely came around. The amazing food made up for the lack of customer service. The prices on the menu were a bit overpriced compared to the restaurants nearby, but nothing outrageous. They also have a little market in which you can purchase some Italian products, my best friend sister bought bread which was delicious!

One word: Amazing
My family ate here for Christmas Eve dinner, and honestly, it was the perfect place to spend the holiday. Tucked down an alley, its nicely away from the busy street and a nice dinner spot.
Our martinis were made to perfection. The oysters were the best we’d had in our entire time in Boston. Best dish out of all of us was the Gnocchi frutti di mare! Delicious. Highly recommend for a nice dinner/special occasion
